While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, it is burning over 20,000 acres with 0% containment. With over 440 crews fighting this fire, and countless evacuations in effect, several structures have already been lost but residents are trying to stay positive.

About the Fire

With extreme heat and high winds this fire continues to burn timber, sage and grass. The firefighters continue to overcome treacherous conditions as they fight to save homes and lives.

Our Bear Hugger Adopt a Family Program™ allows families to adopt other families in need after a disaster. Many times people want to donate to someone specific, someone they feel like they know, someone they can get specific items for.
