In the early hours of September 16 a slow moving Category 2 Hurricane Sally made landfall on the East coast of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, bringing with it feet of rain and historic storm surge and flooding.

About the Storm

Hurricane Sally, already responsible for 2 deaths, is continuing its destructive path across the Southeastern United States, bringing with it rain and tornadoes and threatening communities in its path.

Our Bear Hugger Adopt a Family Program™ allows families to adopt other families in need after a disaster. Many times people want to donate to someone specific, someone they feel like they know, someone they can get specific items for.
